Jon has twenty years of collaborative experience as a landscape architect on a wide range of project types from the initial planning and design phases through construction documents and installation. He is committed to landscape sustainability, natural resource conservation, and creative design solutions that celebrate native plants and the way they connect people to nature.

Originally from Atlanta, Jon discovered his love for the outdoors exploring the mountains of north Georgia and hiking on the Appalachian Trail. This led him to pursue a degree in landscape architecture at the University of Georgia, followed by six years on the east coast working in Washington, DC and Baltimore. He moved to Austin in 2011 for a post-professional MLA at The University of Texas at Austin and has been practicing in Texas for fifteen years.

Outside of work, you can find Jon spending time with family and friends in south Austin, enjoying live music, playing in the garden, swimming laps at Barton Springs, and planning the next road trip.
