Ten Eyck Landscape Architects, Inc's mission is to create regional, resilient landscapes that connect the urban dweller to nature and each other. We work on a range of interesting projects including college campuses, hospitality, botanical gardens, public parks, historic re-use, ranches, residences and city blocks.
TELA is currently seeking a Landscape Designer with 2-3 years’ experience.
TELA is looking for a highly motivated, resourceful, and passionate designer to join our team of 14 in our fun and fast-paced Austin studio. The ideal candidate should be an enthusiastic collaborator with strong communication skills who is committed to design excellence and ready to hit the ground running. They should have work experience in the field of landscape architecture and be willing to support the team on a variety of project types and through all phases of design and construction. Candidate must demonstrate abilities in drawing documentation and presentation skills, be proactive with time management, and utilize problem-solving skills to prioritize and complete tasks. This position is full-time and in person in Austin. It may require occasional travel throughout Texas and the southwest.
Minimum Requirements:
Degree in Landscape Architecture
- Minimum two years’ professional experience at a landscape architecture firm
- Demonstrated design and graphic ability
- Experience with 3D modeling programs
- Experience producing contract documents for construction
- Experience producing illustrative diagrams and perspective renderings
- Excellent time management, organizational, and communication skills
- Proficient in AutoCAD, Adobe Creative Suite, SketchUp, MS Office and other graphics software
- Able to complete tasks with accuracy
- Able to consistently meet deadlines
- Able to communicate well graphically, orally, and in writing
Desired Additional Skills:
- Revit, Rhino, Lumion, Enscape, LandFX
