Michael Tsapos, PLA, ASLA

Associate

Growing up in a small North Texas town, Michael’s interest in the natural world stemmed from an innate curiosity and exploratory spirit. Finding importance in integrating the natural world into everyday experiences of urban dwellers Michael perused a degree in Landscape Architecture at Texas Tech University.

Inspired by the unique landscape of the Texas High Plains, Michael’s academic focus became centered around regionalism and sense of place, leading him to join Ten Eyck Landscape Architects in 2020 with the goal to continue that mission into built work.

Michael recently oversaw the construction of Indian Lodge, Cedar Hill Signature Park & Public Library and Texas Tech Academic Sciences Building, and is currently overseeing the TWU Quakertown Memorial and San Antonio River Authority Sheridan Campus.

Currently he is managing the Enchanted Rock State Natural Area Centennial Expansion, Blanco River Winery, and private ranches in West and Central Texas.

Outside of the office, you can find Michael at the local watering hole, watching movies and tv shows, taking film photos, traveling with his partner, and spending time with friends and family.
