Upcoming Ten Eyck Landscape Architects Presentations

August 11 - Christine Ten Eyck will be one of 4 keynote speakers at the Australian Institute of Landscape Architects Conference 'Transformations'. Her talk will be entitled 'The Memory of Water'.

August 12 - SHADE Conference in Glendale, Arizona. Judeen Terrey will be co-presenting all with Trish Bigler on Vertical Green Structures and Landscapes. Learn techniques and applications for designing planted walls and vine support systems as we address our shifting grounds; sliding the landscape from horizontal to vertical.

August 12 - SHADE Conference in Glendale, Arizona. Todd Briggs will be presenting within a session titled 'What's Winning: A Review of Award Winning Projects and Products'. Todd's segment will discuss the H.N. and Frances C. Berger and Joan Kalimanis Healing Garden at Thompson Peak Hospital in Scottsdale, Arizona. The project was honored with the President's Award at the AzASLA 2011 annual professional awards gala.

September 6th - Lisa Lennon will present to the Boerne Chapter of the Native Plant Society of Texas on the topic of 'Pocket Pollination: Landscape Requirements for Native Bees.' The decline of native bee habitat and the potential for creating small pockets of appropriate native vegetation and habitat even in dense urban spaces will be discussed.

September 26th - Christine Ten Eyck will be at the University of Kentucky speaking about the firm's work.

October 31st - Christine Ten Eyck will be part of a panel discussion at the national ASLA conference on 'The Art of Planting Design' with the fabulous Gary Smith.
