The Plaza & Cellars at Pearl Brewery
Repurposed historic industrial buildings and newly designed plazas, gardens and promenades bring new life to the site of the former Pearl Brewery. Native plants and the use of local and salvaged materials imbue this mixed-use community with a unique sense of identity. In addition to living spaces and an upscale hotel, the community will be home to the Culinary Institute of America and a new local brewery, which are complemented by culinary gardens, outdoor dining spaces, and informal outdoor classrooms. Linear gardens showcase native plants, cool adjacent promenades, and filter storm water before it descends into the San Antonio River. Soothing water features, game courts and tables, fragrant vine-covered arbors, and fire features—in addition to an interactive fountain, river overlook, rooftop pool and garden—invite residents and visitors to enjoy the best of urban living in the heart of San Antonio.
