Perched in the treetops above Taylor's Branch, a quiet inlet off Lake Austin, this Scenic Drive residence underwent an extensive transformation that maintained the original slab and shell. Indoor-outdoor connections were strengthened with balconies and a double-height screened porch. In the backyard, which focuses on entertaining, an outdoor kitchen, steel firepit, and custom limestone bancos frame stunning views over the cantilevered pool. In the front, a circular driveway was removed and replaced with a lush landscape of shady natives like sedges, ferns, and white mistflower beneath existing oaks.
