We are thrilled to announce that TELA has received 3 awards for constructed design at the Texas ASLA Conference this year! The San Antonio Botanical Garden received the Honor Award for the 8-acre expansion that re-imagines the visitor experience and promotes environmental education and stewardship. Laity Lodge was awarded a Merit Award for its sustainable approach to the site’s challenges, resulting in a project that not only celebrates the stunning topography and native ecology of the area, but reinforces the center’s environmental mission to deepen each visitor’s connection to the natural world. The Bridle Path Residence received a Merit Award for its elegant solution to drainage issues and a material palette that strengthens the composition.
